"I really appreciated the review of the CWP and where this fits in...
and got an even better sense of the importance of creating that open space at the beginning. I loved the words you used to help setup that experience for the individual. I wrote them all down, because I thought they were chosen so beautifully! It reminded me of the concept of 'set and setting' in psychedelics. The setting (environment, context, etc) helps to shape or frame the experience someone has (set).
Another take-home point for me was the tip you gave about separating the person from the story of their situation, as you will get symptoms common to that situation, rather than the deeper pattern of that person.
But what I really appreciated was seeing how you navigated the case where the client couldn't get past her conscious left brained way of relating her health, even after trying the pathway of dreams, fears, hobbies, etc. The technique you used was so simple, but very appropriate for her and made all the difference.
