If we have an holistic understanding of the materia medica, repertory, of different schools of homoeopathy, of medicines in their natural form, as well as of the patient, then applying the similia principle becomes effortless, matching the holistic centre of the patient with the holistic centre of the remedy becomes effortless, then the homoeopathic science with all its different approaches becomes all inclusive, under the one tree of the integration and holism…

With my experiences if I had to share one gem with you it would be the Garuda approach, if you believe in obtaining a bird’s eye view then an all-inclusive  connected effortless holistic integration will happen individually and universally…

An integrative holistic multidimensional approach in understanding the repertory means when we have understood the centre of each remedy completely…

Multi-dimensional l Holistic approach

integrative holistic approach

Similarly while using the repertory; if we know what our patient is keeping in the centre we decide which reportorial approach is to be used.

If the patient gives us along with the PQRS at the Holistic Level, we also get peculiar pathological general symptoms then we use the Boger’s approach of repertorisation, we may use BBCR or Boger’s Synoptic Key or Phatak’s Repertory or Boericke’s Repertory. Or in cases where we have peculiar physical particulars or clinical symptoms then Repertories which cover specific organ or specific pathology can be used. Examples: Therapeutic Repertory for Intermittent Fever’s by H.C. Allen, of Guernsey’s Repertory for Haemorrhoids etc…

If the patient gives us along with the PQRS at the Holistic Level, complete symptoms where we can categorise it beautifully into location, sensation, modality concomitant then we use the Boenninghausen’s approach, we may use the Therapeutic Pocket Book, BBCR etc..

If we patient gives us peculiar mental generals or physical generals or physical particulars then we convert these into reportorial language to find out the remedy which covers the general and particular rubrics, at this time we may choose the Kentian Appraoch to repertories, we may use Kent’s Repertory, or Complete Repertory etc…

With the approach of new softwares like Complete Dynamis or Mac (now Synergy) or Hompath or Radar or ISIS where all the repertories old and new are present, a combined data is available, we are now able to make repertorisation an integrative holistic all inclusive multidimensional.
